Omg, Thea! I was also at that Andy Gibb concert at Pine Knob in 1978, standing on my chair screaming! Hahah!!

This is SO beyond coincidence. There was such a small window of opportunity to see him perform that it’s hard to find fans who had a chance. To find one at the same show? Miraculous!

Haha! It was also my first concert!! We’ll have to get together and sing his songs.

I doubt many people cover his songs in their sets. Would be a fun, unexpected for audiences when you slip in a cover.

Very fun read! I really appreciate the breadth of Thea's music taste - and yep, that Living Colour 'Tiny Desk Concert' is *killer*.

Loved Thea's life review through live concerts accompanied by the fun commentary and all those great performances.

Your summer of sweat was fun too, Chris!

I've added four entries to my women in rock spreadsheet from the NEXT list. Always finding new bands I didn't know about on there.

It’s still rolling! I commit to at least 2 shows monthly — many have three acts so that’s six performances a month. Some touring, some local. It’s a fun mix. And sometimes you grown with the artist and see them flourish and it’s glorious!!

Which acts?

The Heavy Heavy which I can’t wait to see. And a local band called Sway.

Cool! I love it when touring acts book local openers.

I do too. This is two separate shows though. Together would be a great double bill. Sway is a cover band with 2 originals thrown in.
